Ghita is Kanye’s fiancé Alexis Phifer line. The line was launched in 2005 and premiered in September 2007 at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Ghita refers to a gem or means ‘pearl of the sea.’ Alexis graduated from Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in California.
