Snippet of an interview with Allhiphop.com:
Do you feel as an artist you are under rated since most of the shine was always given to Beyonce and Kelly?
Most definitely. I hope I am able to change that perception. I'm going to take my time, move at a steady pace and try to change the perception people have about me. I want to get people to say, "Ok, she's not playing. She means business.” People will see. [laughs] They should have taken note before, but they will.
Are you nervous about doing it alone?
Yeah, but it's a good nervous. I'm going to turn the nerves into good energy.
How is your personal life? Are you in a relationship?
My love life is so unfortunate. I haven't had any luck this year. It's been a couple years since I've been in a really serious relationship. Every now and then, you might think you're coming up on a winner, and then it doesn't work out.(Billy Dec maybe???)
Yung Joc has a new imprint, Swagg Team Entertainment. His label has inked a deal with Jive Records to release the debut album by Chicago trio Hotstylz, who created an online sensation with a satirical track that has since been renamed “Lookin’ Boy.”
“I wanted to put together a team of artists and opportunists to change the pace of music as we know it right now, as far as Hip-Hop and R&B is concerned,” Joc told.
He discovered Hotstylz accidentally, when he was introduced to them by radio and club DJ Hershey, who had downloaded the audio from the group’s YouTube video. The new video for “Lookin’ Boy,” which Joc says closely follows Hotstylz’ original clip, is set to hit airwaves on May 12. Read the whole intereview here and listen to the track below ( I must confess, it’s a guily pleasure for me)
That Grape Juice has an exclusive intereview with Michelle Williams about several issues including her Gospel critics, the constant comparisons to her band mates Beyonce and Kelly as well as serving up the 'Unexpected' with her new record.
Quote: Actually there is absolutely no truth to the Henry Simmons rumours. In a way, I’d wish these rumours would stop popping up because it’s messing up my opportunities… Read the wonderful interview here

Rumors are swirling that Jay-Z is looking to open 40/40 clubs all over the U.S. and our lovely city will be one. Interesting
Lupe on David Letterman. I’m mad Dave kept calling him Loopy. SMH
Also Lupe isn’t voting in the coming elections but said if he would it would be for Hillary. Well Rhymefest had some words for him: I'm not one to judge a person's political, religious or [even] artistic views; however, the reasons that this artist gave were so fucking erroneous and outrageous that it compels me to speak out, even if only to give fans the right information so that we are not following uninformed-ass rappers down the hole of 'abstract nothingness.'
