Gov. Rod Blagojevich wishes to tear down NIU’s Cole Hall. "Cole Hall will be torn down, but what happened there will never be forgotten," Blagojevich said. Students say, "It was a sad thing that happened in there, and the worst thing you could do is just tear it down. We'd erase what they (slain students) stood for, what they were trying to do in that building.”
If they do demolish the building I would hope a memorial would be placed there instead of another building. The students that were killed deserve to be remembered and not quickly erased from NIU’s history.
What do you think? Yes or No?
