Common interview

Common recently did an interview on his new movie Street Kings (opening Friday), growing up in Chicago, and winning an Oscar.
"I don't want to ever appear like I was the poorest kid in the neighborhood or the street thug," says one of the most prominent voices in hip-hop. "I had a good mother who was a teacher and a good stepfather. I went to church every Sunday at the Trinity United Church. My pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has been a big influence in my life in a positive way.
